Privacy Policy

What you give us. When you use the early-access form we collect your name, email address, a description of what you are building, and, only if you choose to provide it, a mobile phone number and your SMS consent choice. If you use the chat assistant on the site, we receive the messages you type into it.

What the site records automatically. Our first-party visitor beacon records the page you viewed, the referring page, campaign (UTM) tags, how long you stayed, your browser’s user-agent string, and your country as reported by our CDN. It sets one first-party cookie (xl_vid, a random identifier, up to two years) and does not run when your browser sends Do Not Track. We also use PostHog product analytics, which records page views and page exits and stores a random identifier in your browser’s local storage. When a page is not found we log the requested address so we can fix broken links. Our web servers and CDN also process your IP address to deliver and protect the site.

We use your information to answer your request, set up and secure your KraftWare account, send the account notifications you have agreed to, understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

If you check the SMS consent box on our early-access form, you agree to receive account notification text messages from KraftWare (KraftWare Account Alerts) at the number you provided. Messages are sent from +1 (847) 881-3282 and are limited to sign-in and security codes and service alerts about your KraftWare account. We never send marketing texts. The consent box is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email [email protected]. Opting out of texts does not affect your account; we will reach you by email instead. See our SMS Terms for the full program terms.

When you opt in we record your number, the consent choice, the time, and the version of the consent wording you saw, so we can prove consent and honor opt-outs.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. All of the above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message service.

We share information only with the service providers that run the site and service on our behalf, and only as far as they need it: our CDN and hosting providers, our analytics provider (PostHog), our email providers, and our text-message provider and carriers. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law.

We keep early-access requests and account records for as long as your account is active or as needed to follow up on your request. SMS consent and opt-out records are kept for as long as we might message the number, plus the period required to demonstrate compliance. Analytics data is kept in aggregate and pruned over time.

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing [email protected]. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. You can block analytics by enabling Do Not Track or clearing cookies and site data in your browser.

Our services are directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
