What KraftWare has quietly become — seamless AI at the edge

Two words have driven my work this past week: seamless and edge.

Here's the thesis. There's no shortage of AI and hosting companies — but they all share one catch: to get value, you have to hand them your data. That's the hurdle nobody has cleanly solved.

KraftWare flips it. Instead of shipping your data out to someone else's cloud, we let the AI come to you — agents that run inside your own network, right next to your data, on your own infrastructure — and connect outward only through secure, encrypted channels you control. The data stays home; the intelligence comes to it.

What's already working today (not slideware — running)

• On-prem AI agents that join a customer's environment over private, encrypted tunnels — no data leaves their walls.
• Secure, isolated tenancy — each customer gets their own encrypted vault for secrets and identity, and we can stand a new secure tenant up on demand.
• Reach-you-how-it-matters notifications — the system escalates through the right channel for the urgency, and at the top tier it places a live, conversational AI phone call, with real-time hand-off to a human or conference-in. Email and live voice are running now.
• Cloud-bridged, not cloud-locked — it runs across major cloud providers, so customers are never trapped on one.
• Edge-first by design — data is filtered and summarized at the source before anything moves upstream. That's what keeps it private and cheap.

And we're now wiring in direct access to the newest frontier models — the ones making headlines — so customers can point them at their own data without that data ever leaving their control.

Why this matters

The realization: the secure data-and-AI backbone we built for EventDetect is exactly what everyone trying to do anything with AI now needs. XlSensor and EventDetect still want a client to push them forward — but KraftWare itself has become something bigger.

I think there's real revenue and seed potential in opening this up as a hosting product, and I believe we can be first to market with something genuinely seamless at the edge. The market seems to agree on the category — comparable plays are being acquired for tens of billions right now (cursor / spacex).
